What is home staging? Home staging is the practice of thoughtfully arranging and enhancing a home to present it at its absolute best. At Sarah & Co. Through considered furniture placement, refined styling details and a focus on flow and ambience, we elevate your home’s presentation while minimising distractions. The result is a welcoming, spacious and market-ready environment that photographs beautifully and leaves a lasting impression.
How long does property styling take? The duration of styling depends on the size and layout of your home, however most installations are completed within approximately 3 to 4 hours. Our team works efficiently and with great care to ensure your property is beautifully styled and ready for photography or inspections on the same day.
Can I have input on what furniture is selected? We always welcome your initial thoughts and inspiration, and we are happy to work with you and your agent to understand the look you want to achieve. Once we have that direction, trusting our expertise is essential. We carefully curate furniture and décor pieces that elevate your home, enhance flow and functionality, and create a cohesive, beautiful result that resonates with buyers.
How long is the hire period? Our standard hire period is 4 weeks, with an additional 2 weeks complimentary to support your sales campaign. If you need more time, we offer extensions for up to a further 4 weeks, giving you flexibility throughout the selling process.
What if my property sells before the end of the hire period? That is wonderful news, as a fast sale often reflects the success of your presentation and sales strategy. Because your styling package has already been delivered, installed and used to support the campaign, we are unable to offer refunds for early collection. We will, however, arrange a convenient time to remove the furnishings once your agent confirms that access is appropriate.
What is your lead time? Lead times can vary depending on how busy the market is, so we recommend getting in touch as early as possible. The more notice you are able to provide, the better chance we have of securing your preferred installation date and ensuring everything is perfectly prepared for your sales campaign.
What insurance do you have? All of our styling inventory is insured for theft and fire while installed in your property, giving you peace of mind throughout the campaign. We take great care during both installation and removal. In the unlikely event that any damage to your property occurs during this process, it will be covered under our insurance. Any damage to our stock caused by misuse or avoidable incidents remains the responsibility of the homeowner to repair or reimburse.
Can I help with the install? To ensure everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that you remain offsite or outside while our team completes the installation. This allows us to work efficiently, follow required safety procedures and bring your styling vision to life with care.

Can I use my existing furniture? Yes, you can. Home staging does not always require a full replacement of your furnishings. We can thoughtfully integrate your existing furniture and accessories with carefully selected pieces from our inventory to elevate the space and create a polished, display-home feel.
